How to disable SIP ALG

In this article we will explain how to disable the SIP ALG on Endian UTM Enterprise appliances.

Open an SSH conection to the Endin UTM Enterpise appliance using an SSH client like Putty.

Type the IP address of your Endian UTM Enterprise appliance (in our case 10.2.2.25) and make sure that the port 22 is choosen and click Open.

Press Yes in order to establish the SSH connection.

Once you are logged in run the below command

root@endian:~ # ds helpers.settings.ENABLED_SIP=off

This command should give a similar output as below

root@endian:~ # ds helpers.settings.ENABLED_SIP=off

Value HELPERS.SETTINGS.ENABLED_SIP

off

At this point reboot the appliance typing reboot

root@endian:~ # reboot
