With the latest updates of Endian UTM 2.4 and 2.5 released on 4th September 2012 for MINI ARM product line, Endian introduced a script to store a copy of configuration files on the internal NAND.
This creates a redundant configuration backup every 6 hours that can be imported on any new microSD Card, once plugged in.
In case of Disk full or failure, the new microSD automatically receives the configuration settings and your Endian Mini will be ready to use in few minutes, no need of on site technical assistance at your customer.
This does not replace the good practice to regularly make backups and store them in a safe place, using the GUI.
